Why do we do evil things?

The emotional conditioning of a persons mind, to be able to commit such evil, by not seeing the moralistic side of it... in the name of race, superiority, fighting their own self perceived evils against them etc.... fighting for their own happiness.

When someone commits acts (good or bad) in the name of their (or their race, people etc) for the sake of happiness (either having great or just a little influence).... this will help their emotional conditioning to bypass all sense of morality.... in worst instances leading to hell on earth, for a person or a people.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I find your comments liscivious, outrageous and inebrious.

Its almost as if you have written this entire blog sitting in some small island nation, like Tonga or something.

We should all give to worthwhile causes. For example there is fantastic facebook group called Feed 2 Children with NO CLICKS...its way better than all those feed a child with one click groups.

Don't listen to Farhad, he's cynical.

Good blog, glad to see someone still has ideals

Sometimes people make mistakes that inconvenience others. When people feel loved unconditionally, they are able to make fewer mistakes and better choices. Love is the answer.

Philip Zimbardo wrote a really great book: "The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Bad"

I'm not sure if someone already said this, but I think that we do evil things when they make us feel good. Then, once we do a few bad things, we don't feel as bad doing worse things. Logically, becoming evil makes perfect sense, until you consider religion or the idea of morals. (these things make us feel good, I would hate to give them up.) Also, when I say evil, I mean things that are good for you at the expense of others. Stealing from friends does not count, because it makes you feel bad through your empathy for your friends. I mean something like downloading movies illegally. As for people who do evil things that hurt themselves, that is not logical, but I think the answer is also simple enough; people do evil things that are bad for them because they think they can get away with it.

Evil spirits are truly responsible for all evil in this world. They make men do things that we don't really want to.

Is this a serious question? Are we fundamentally good and righteous? Not even close; "left to our own means we are but filthy rags." "we all fall short of the glory of God."
Ever since the fall of man, we have been fundamentally foul and sinful. The question might be better worded, "Why do we do good things?"

see Appearance: Kitchen faucet surface chrome plating is very particular, usually through several processes to complete. Distinguish between good or bad depends on its shinyAntique brass faucet extent, the smoother the surface, the brighter the better representative of the Bathroom mirror .
